Color: Bakelite can be with color painting or soft touch coating.
There are two ways:
1. Choose the raw material of Bakelite powder with color. Usually the raw material of Bakelite powder is black, that’s why most Bakelite handles we saw in the market are black. Actually, our supplier can supply the colored Bakelite powder, such as red, green,brown, etc. This kind of color handle can keep the high temperature resistant of Bakelite side handle, also make the color real and modest.
- 2. Paint the black Bakelite metal short handle to color options. As plastic and other materials, the Bakelite also can be painted with colorful coating. There are three kinds of coating at present. One is the high-temperature coating with glossy look, this kind of coating can stand high temperature to about 150℃. Second is color soft touch coating, which can cover a soft feeling on the handle, it is not shinny, but modest mat look. But the heat resistance is lower, about 110 ℃. The last one is wooden soft touch coating, which is made by a layer of oil film. Then after baking, makes the film attaches to the handle tightly. This kind of film formed different pattern on each product. The oil film is important, some are from abroad, and the cost would be higher.
